Black Lotus – Refund & Returns Policy

Our Commitment

At Black Lotus, every garment is hand-painted with care, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind. Your satisfaction matters to us — and while our items are made to order, we’re here to assist if something goes wrong.

1. Returns

Returns are available only for items from our ready-to-ship collection. If you proceed to a custom order, because each item is individually hand-painted and made to order, we do not accept returns unless:

  • The item is damaged upon delivery
  • You received the wrong item

To request a return in these cases:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Email: blacklotusartproject@gmail.com
  • Please include a clear photo of the issue and your order number

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Sent back with original tags and packaging

2. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • We’ll notify you by email regarding the status of your refund
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method

💡 Please note: Shipping costs are not refundable unless the return is due to our error.

3. Non-Refundable Items

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items returned without prior authorization
  • Orders delayed due to factors beyond our control (e.g., courier delays, strikes, weather)

4. Exchanges

Exchanges are available only for items from our ready-to-ship collection.

We do not offer exchanges for:

  • Custom-painted garments
  • Made-to-order pieces

To request an exchange, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item.

5. Gifts & Gift Orders

If you selected “This is a gift” during checkout:

  • The recipient will receive a gift receipt (no prices shown)
  • They are eligible for exchange or refund only under the same conditions as regular orders

🎁 We currently do not offer gift wrapping. However, all pieces are thoughtfully packaged. To include a personalized note, email us after placing your order.

6. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or damaged item), we will cover return shipping costs.
  • In all other approved cases, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for lost return shipments.
